Modffusor^TM represents the evolution in modular sound diffusers toward asymmetric designs, making them compatible with the current research that establishes aperiodic/asymmetric sequencing as an approach toward significant performance improvement of the installed array. A furniture-grade, natural wood sound diffuser, Modffusor^TM is designed to provide a more uniform sound field through mid and high-frequency sound diffusion while limiting the amount of sound absorption. Units are available in a high recycled content, ULEF, Class A fire-rated and FSC^® MDF core.

The Modsorbor™ 2.0 Panel redesign allows us to offer the panels in larger dimensions. The durable, high-performance, tuned acoustical core with hardened square or shaped edges wrapped in an acoustic fabric offers focused upper bass/lower mid-range absorption (extending down into bass range with the thicker options) without affecting higher frequencies, yielding an NRC/SAA as low as 0.25/0.27.   Consider pairing it with the new BAD™ Panel 2.0 and the Broadsorbor™ 2.0 Panel for a complete acoustic solution. All three panel types now share identical thicknesses, making them interchangeable during design.

The Modviewsor^® 87 Panel is a 1-dimensional sound diffusor that represents the evolution in architectural acoustics toward aperiodic sequencing of asymmetrical shapes. The panel is designed to be used where views through the unit are desired. The surface of the Modviewsor^® 87 Panel provides an optimum sound field through mid and high-frequency diffusion. At the same time, the sturdy clear acrylic construction limits the amount of sound energy removed by absorption.

Diffusive ceilings and walls are one of the most effective ways to control room reflections and provide a natural ambiance. RPG has developed the first non-combustible Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) modular 2D diffusor that mounts tegularly in a standard 15/16" HD T-grid system. The Omniffusor^® G74 Tile uniformly scatters sound arriving from any direction into many directions, providing ideal distribution and coverage.
