Acala
TM
Tegular RCT
To achieve their best performance, many spaces require all three primary acoustical surfaces: absorptive, diffusive, and reflective. Spaces purpose-built for music rehearsal, such as band and choral rooms, and verbal communication, such as classrooms and lecture halls, can benefit from healthy late order, high-frequency reflections. The
Acala™ Tegular RCT
(Reflective Ceiling Tile) is a solid surface solution with sufficient mass to provide this benefit while seamlessly aligning with and color matching to adjacent ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile) and DCT (Diffusive Ceiling Tile) for a clean, comprehensive, high-performance solution.

BAD
TM
2.0 Panel
The
BAD™ (Binary Amplitude Diffuser) 2.0 Panel
redesigns an RPG classic that brings with it improved off-axis diffusion and boosted absorption through the mid-range frequencies. The
BAD™ Panel 2.0
offers a unique synergy of advanced acoustic technology and simplicity of construction when performance is paramount and budgets are modest. Utilizing a newly optimized binary pattern of perforations in a flexible template over a sound-absorbent core, it achieves an excellent balance of sound absorption across the NRC octave bands while preserving the space's ambiance by rolling off the high-frequency absorption above 1000Hz and transitioning to a scattering surface above 2000Hz which prevents lobing effects inherent in typical perforated surfaces. The transition from absorption to diffusion is ideal. Consider pairing it with the new Modsorbor™ 2.0 Panel and the Broadsorbor™ 2.0 Panel for a complete acoustic solution. All three panel types now share identical thicknesses, making them interchangeable during design.

(Binary Amplitude Diffuser) Arc Panel
is an advancement on the traditional, flat BAD
TM
Panel, a synergy of advanced acoustical technology and simplicity of design for when performance is paramount but budgets are modest. Using an optimal binary pattern of perforations through a Class A fire-rated curved, rigid template, the
BAD
TM
Arc Panel
achieves an excellent balance of sound absorption across the NRC frequency bands while preserving the space's ambiance. This unique hybrid technology eliminates excessive high-frequency absorption, transitions to a scattering surface in the very high frequencies, prevents lobing inherent in common perforated surfaces and significantly improves mid and low-frequency absorption.
