QRD^® 734 has proven to be the most popular and versatile diffusor in the RPG product line. Its wide bandwidth, low cost and a broad selection of finishes make it a logical choice for music education facilities, recording studios, worship spaces, auditoriums, theaters and performing arts facilities. This 1-dimensional diffusor is a modular, computer-designed phase grating that produces a directional hemidisc polar response that can be oriented in any direction. The surface of the QRD^® 734 is designed to provide a more uniform sound field through mid and high-frequency diffusion. In contrast, the natural wood construction of the unit, available in a high recycled content, ULEF, Class A fire-rated and FSC^® MDF core, limits the amount of sound energy removed by absorption.

QRD^® 734F is a one-dimensional sound diffuser developed to expand the product line anchored originally by the classic QRD^® 734 Panel. It is the first product of its kind offered on the market. With a patented folded well design, the QRD^® 734F extends the diffusion bandwidth into the lower mid-range frequencies in only 4-1/4" depth, whereas other diffuser designs require at least 8". The natural wood construction of the unit limits the amount of sound energy removed by absorption while the diffusion performance extends over 4 octaves.

The Skyline^® Brix G Panel, made of non-combustible glass fiber reinforced gypsum (GFRG), represents RPG’s continuing evolution in architectural acoustics toward expanding the palette of available surfaces and textures. Masonry units were used as a mold to create the undulating surface, which is designed to blend the direct and reflected sound to increase intelligibility and enhance musical clarity and intimacy in performance spaces such as auditoriums, tracking and choral rooms. The asymmetric Skyline^® Brix G Panel can be array optimized to reduce periodicity effects.

The Skyline^® G768 Panel represents the continuing evolution in architectural acoustics towards quantifiable, non-traditional shapes. It is designed to blend the direct and reflected sound to increase intelligibility and enhance musical clarity and intimacy in performance spaces such as auditoria, band rooms, choral rooms, etc. Constructed of heavy, non-combustible glass fiber reinforced gypsum (GFRG), RPG's asymmetric Skyline^® G768 Panel can be array optimized to reduce periodicity effects.
