Interfering reflections can be controlled by absorption or diffusion. In smaller spaces (conference rooms, classrooms, recording studios, broadcast studios,
home theaters, film mix and dubbing stages, music practice rooms, etc.), it is often desirable to control interfering reflections and provide an ambient sound field using diffusion instead of absorption. A very efficient diffusing surface is needed when the room’s surfaces are relatively close to the listener. RPG developed Skyline®, the industry’s first, and most efficient, omnidirectional primitive root number theory, two-dimensional diffusor to solve this problem. The Skyline® T894 Panel introduces a fire-rated recessed design that has been optimized for T-grid ceilings. The uniform scattering of the Skyline® T894 Panel minimizes acoustical glare and offers balance to designs for performance, technology, and communication spaces.
Comes in a standard natural white finish and can either be painted on-site or factory color-matched to any paint color specification.
Thermo-Form (TPS) Polymer
Class I or A
The Skyline® T894 Panel has a unique panel design that allows for the standard panel to drop into a 9/16″ or 15/16″ T-grid system supplied by others. The panels can also be wall-mounted using RPG-provided trim.
