The Modex^TM LF is designed to target the mid and upper bass frequencies utilizing an internally damped resonant panel, efficiently attenuating frequencies in the octave between 80 and 160Hz, considered the mid-range of the bass frequency range. This frequency range is often responsible for the bass buildup that we are most sensitive to in mid-size auditoriums and band rooms, reducing musical clarity and intelligibility.

The Modex^TM Module Panel is a low-frequency membrane sound absorber designed to fine-tune the modal distribution in a small room such as a studio control, music/dedicated listening room or home theater. The panels have a unique membrane system that converts the high sound pressure fluctuations typically found where room surfaces meet into selective absorption in the modal frequency range.  The tuning frequencies available for Modex^TM Module Panel are 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 and 125Hz. The units are designed to cover about 1/3 octave above and below the tuning frequency.

The Modex^TM Plate 2.0 is absorptive primarily in the bass frequencies to balance modal distributions without affecting the mid and high frequencies. Housed within a sturdy, lightweight, perforated aluminum cabinet, a dampened plate mechanism offers bass control over several octaves.

Modffractal^TM is part of the evolution in architectural acoustics toward aperiodic sequencing of asymmetrical shapes. It provides full-spectrum sound diffusion in a single integrated diffusor by combining the self-similarity properties of fractals with the uniform scattering property of a phase-optimized sound diffuser. This unique and patented design expands the bandwidth and offers the broadest spectrum of sound diffusion available while also allowing optimized array sequencing for further improved performance. Units are available in a high recycled content, ULEF, Class A fire-rated and FSC^® MDF core, and FSC^® solid wood wells.
