ModffractalTM is part of the evolution in architectural acoustics toward aperiodic sequencing of asymmetrical shapes. It provides full-spectrum sound diffusion in a single integrated diffusor by combining the self-similarity properties of fractals with the uniform scattering property of a phase-optimized sound diffuser. This unique and patented design expands the bandwidth and offers the broadest spectrum of sound diffusion available while also allowing optimized array sequencing for further improved performance. Units are available in a high recycled content, ULEF, Class A fire-rated and FSC® MDF core, and FSC® solid wood wells.
Unfinished, veneer with lacquer, veneer with custom stain or colored lacquer. Standard species include Alder, Anigre, Ash, Birch, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Red Oak, Walnut and White Oak. Custom species may be available on request.
