The Waveform® Wood Family of diffusive products are designed to enhance musical clarity and intimacy in performance spaces. The panels have an attractive wood veneer, curved or bell shaped appearance and are available in a high recycled content, ULEF, Class A fire-rated, and FSC®-certified MDF core which limits the amount of sound energy removed by absorption. When absorptive material is placed into the rear cavity of the units in an overhead canopy configuration, significant reverberation time reduction in the space can also be accomplished. The panels can also be arrayed to reduce periodicity effects and be installed on walls or ceilings.

Unfinished, veneer with lacquer, veneer with custom stain or colored lacquer. Standard species include Alder, Anigre, Ash, Birch, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Poplar, Red Oak, Walnut and White Oak. Custom species may be available on request.

Overhead mounting of the Waveform® Wood Family is achieved by suspending units from integrated hairpin loops using RPG-supplied engineered cables and hardware. Each panel can be hung as a “cloud” or screwed together to create a canopy. Units can also be mounted directly onto walls using RPG-provided integrated cleats.
