RPG Acoustical Systems, LLC, a leading provider of premium-grade innovative acoustic solutions for environments of all kinds, is proud to celebrate 40 years of diffuser technology development. In 1983, Dr. Peter D’Antonio founded RPG Diffusor, where he pioneered the sound diffusion industry and contributed to developing the diffusion and scattering coefficient international standards. We take great pride in the work of Dr. D’Antonio, recognized as a foremost innovator in the acoustics industry and holder of numerous patents and trademarks. Dr. D’Antonio is the author of the acoustics industry’s reference text “Acoustic Absorbers and Diffusers: Theory, Design and Application, 3rd Edition, CRC Press (2017)” and has been inducted into the music industry’s TECnology Hall of Fame.
In 2017, a new entity known as RPG Acoustical Systems, LLC was established to go forward with the production and sale of a full line of absorption, reflection and diffusion products at our facility in Passaic, New Jersey. RPG Acoustical Systems continues its legacy by adding new milestones and expanding its product range to meet the ever-changing requirements of the architectural acoustics and pro audio industries.
Today, we offer a diverse range of high-quality products, including diffusers, absorbers, reflectors, and other specialized acoustic solutions, as well as testing and modeling services in our new Acoustical Research Center (ARC).
