The FlutterFree® Plank is an attractive, furniture-grade, solid wood molding that provides high-frequency diffusion. As a simple plank product, it is often incorporated into wall and ceiling assemblies that, in addition to high-frequency diffusion, can also provide low-frequency absorption for bass control in technology spaces. A back-slotted configuration transforms the FlutterFree® Plank into a hybrid product that offers sound absorption just below the sound diffusion bandwidth, extending the overall bandwidth of the product to solve multiple room acoustic issues in one attractive product.

FlutterFree® Planks can be nailed to a wall or ceiling surface on furring strips supplied by others. For low-frequency absorption mounting, please refer to RPG supplemental data sheets. A #0 or #10 (1/16″) wood spacer biscuit is provided by RPG for plank-to-plank alignment.
